Mino-Q Japanese Buffet

Went for the dinner buffet with Princess Mama, Carnivore Ling, and Ms. Koh.
The last time Moi went there was with Ste around 2 years ago.
The minute Moi stepped into the restaurant, can smell the muak muak (dusty dusty old old smell of furniture...)
Food standard dropped tremendously compared to the last time Moi was there.
We will never go there again liao...
But here's a recap of what we had that night
Tempura (prawns only) - smelly oil
Sashimi moriawase - not as fresh as Himawari's, said Princess Mama
Inari sushi and assorted maki sushi - normal
Soft shell crab - again smelly oil, think their fried stuff cannot make it liao
Gyoza - we expected it to be pan fried...but it wasn't
Teppanyaki chicken - normal
Tempura again - more prawns, sweet potato and pumpkin (need we say more abt the oil...)
Katsu don - so so so tiny the portions...but still tastes OK
Yakitori - normal, chicken a bit tough
Fried garlic rice - OK
Teppanyaki beansprouts - this is OK except that the beansprouts still had the tails attached...
Saba - very smelly fishy smell...
Teppanyaki salmon - fishy smell too
Teppanyaki beef - normal
Chawanmushi - OK
Rolled omelet - still OKUdon soup - salty but still alright
More inaris - this one acceptable la
We shall try Himawari at Neil road next time.
